BUILT IN THE 1920’S
A largely unused storage space on 1st ave S., the warehouse was the perfect space to turn dreams into reality. The property consists of an industrial warehouse. The building has seen a lot of alterations, with the replacement of most of the windows and modifications to the parapet design. The building dates to 1921, when it was built to serve as a warehouse for the Farmer’s Co-op Dairy Association. Four years later, the southern structure was constructed by the Advance Ice Cream Company. It was then transformed into The sweetheart Bakery whom built a garage on the site in 1944. It’s history was long and vibrant, a creative’s dream match. It was in this space that The Ivy and Rose was dreamt.
Born from a need to move and gather, the Ivy + Rose is a true event space through and through; a blank canvas for guest and creatives to paint upon.
